Matt’s son Greg had to call on all of his considerable skills in carefully coaxing the fish slowly back from the bottom. Despite a few more runs the fish continued to rise and we all awaited the appearance of a kingie - but as the fish came into view, the silver flash of its belly and the familiar bronze sparkle heralded the arrival of a beautiful snapper.
