Snapper caught at penguin shoals

The group went out to the penguin shoals and managed to catch a few big snapper (5 to 6lbs) and a few big red cod as well as lot of smaller stuff. They really enjoyed their fishing day.

The staff and students of the Special Needs Unit at Pakuranga College loved this outing on their sightseeing day tour in Tauranga. The Sunfish1 team enjoys the opportunity to spend some time with children on Tauranga harbour cruises - and there is always icecream in the freezer.

The kids from Pakuranga School had a great time sightseeing and fishing on board Sunfish cruising the Pacific. Despite their disabilities, they were fantastic ambassadors for their school and a credit to their parents and teachers.
