Bottom and Sports fishing

The group went out to the penguin shoals and managed to catch a few big snapper (5 to 6lbs) and a few big red cod as well as lot of smaller stuff. They really enjoyed their fishing day.

There were so many snapper caught on this fishing trip in the Bay of Plenty that we had enough to eat for 3 day.s

The fishing, and especially catching all those snapper, was a highlight of our NZ stay.

We were continually pulling in snapper, and even managed a John Dory.
